Hermigua...
Hermigua is a town on the northeastern side of La Gomera. It is easily reached via a network of convenient road tunnels from San Sebastian. Hermigua itself has a number of interesting sites for visitors and is also a useful jumping off point for Hikes toward El Cedro. Los Telares Museum, contains handicrafts from the surrounding area and is well worth a visit.

Valle Alto, the first settlement in Hermigua: its neighbourhood "El Convento" features a Dominican church and monastery built 1611;
